Talking pleased as punch..........but

got a bongo!!!!!!

funtastic...like minis of old you have to grin when your in it!

one prob mind.....the ac control should ramp up the fan but it does not.

the fan will run but only on hurricane(top) setting.

any easy fixes?

or is a new fan? if so where?

any advice happily accepted!

hi,

It might be the switch on the dash ? I've never looked at one but if the fan runs on full - presumably when you turn the switch round, then maybe it's just not contacting on the lower settings. Worst thing would be a burnt-out switch I guess. Might be worth a look at that before you get a new fan.

You can get parts from Mazda UK, but it's likely to be silly money - I'd try talking to someone who reconditions starters, alternators, etc, or even a scrappie.... the fan's got to be used in other mazdas

Hi smeakes

Whilst I agree with Brians suggestions above, it may also be worthwhile checking the fan speed resistor situated near the fan motor!
