Opening Hood

Grandson's 2003 Stang, he is out of town, I am storing the car and I cannot open the hood ((at least find the under hood release) I feel like an idiot, I have used the owners manual for assistance but to no avail, just can not feel the under hood release, I need lots of help.

Re: Opening Hood

I"m assuming you have released the hood with the control under the dash. If you can't feel the hood release look under the hood. It's got to be there. If not, maybe someone has to lift up the hood while someone else activates the release under the dash. can you see the release under the hood?

Re: Opening Hood

Interior release activated but I cannot feel any release mechanism under the hood (do not know if I am looking for a pice that lifts up, moves sideways or pushes back) I guess I will have to take flashlight and illuminate the area to see where that release is located.
