89 tercel

hey people, i have a 1989 toyota tercel that i just painted, and i want to turn it into a offroading/rally car, how would i raise it up about 4-6 inches

First off why the hell did you just paint a car your going to rally in? But more importantly is it the hatchback with the four wheel drive system? If its not dont bother trying to make a rally car out of it, buy some crap-totaled honda for a couple hundred bucks and drive it 'til its dead.

Do you plan on doing any sort of actual racing with it or will it just be a car that you drive around on trails out in the woods/farm with?

It's difficult to raise any unibody car that much. You might be able to raise it 1-2 inches if you find some taller springs that fit in the same coil mounts, but that will be an exercise in trial and error.
