im looking to mostly do an overall upgrade, probably more focus on speakers than subs

Yah at first I plan on having the 1 box tuned to about 30-35hz and then build a second box the same size and tune it to 56hz that kicker recommends in the manual for spl comp. which will allow it to hold the full 10k watts.

personally, i wouldnt go with that clarion unit, i work for a mobile audio store, and we get alot of clarions back with problems, kenwood decks have lots of customization options and are reasonably priced
