Kawasaki ZX12R
here is a bike i built about a year and a half ago, there are so many things i would do much better now. drilling out all the holes in the discs and using more airbrushing. but i think this is a realy good kit for people to try. also i believe there is a studio 27 photo etch upgrade kit availiable.
am going to build another one soon, but this time i hope to use all my new skills and equipment that i have built up. hopefully a custom. Last edited by chrismcgee; 12-31-2003 at 08:56 AM. |

Re: Kawasaki ZX12R
thats pretty damn schmick! I also want to build a bike, mostly because they look cool and they are a nice size too. Might build a hayabusa for my brother, since he loves em so much
First, I gotta finish the rx7, the gt-four, the modena and the gt-r... ouch |

Looks really good. Nice, clean and stock is sometimes the way to go.

Re: Re: Kawasaki ZX12R
Chirs. I've watched on speed channel that these guys take these bikes, lengthen the chassis 2'', add fat tires in front and back, same ones that are commonly seen in the back are put in the front, and add a turbo. Just a thought, you said custom, and that clicked.

well i am hoping that my girlfriend has either got me a busa or a zx12 for crimbo, either way they are getting modded, lol. definately swingarm will be lengthened, and a few other mods, i have a great DVD of a street rider called "Ghost Rider". he has the coolest trubo black hyabusa, no plates nothing, its on bike video of him getting the police to chase him etc. very fun, he even does a 203mph wheelie! also has a jet black gsxr1000 which he totaly winds the police up with! great dvd.

Re: Kawasaki ZX12R
Well, back on the topic...
I like that bike a lot! Quite dusty, but quite cool, eheheh I'm planning to build the Revell 1:9 Ducatti 996. I saw it today in my LHS for just 30 Euros...Hope that Santa listened to me this time |

the revel 1.9 scale bike series requires tons of work but there is pleanty of scope for super detailing as its such a large bike. i am planning on buying another MV augusta F4 and remaking the forks out of aluminium tubing etc. it is a flimsy bike but i think that with a few choice mods it could be so much better. good luck with it
