Unhappy I just bought a 92 nissan stanza

I just bought a 1992 Nissan Stanza. It is a 4 door automatic GX. I got a great deal on the car but it came with some transmission problems. As anyone on thie forum knows it has a transmission with a computer. The problem with my transmission may be a computer problem because I noticed if I switch it to comfort it doesn't act up as bad. The problem as a whole is a slipping. It does fine and is drivable as long as you don't give it over 1/4 of the pedal. You can give it all the pedal you want when it gets up to 3rd gear and going about 55 mph. Overdrive is also completely useless in the car unless you r going under 25 mph. Please if anyone knows anything about these transmission please e-mail me at Oldsk00lf00l@yahoo.com. (the o's in the name are zeros) Thanks
