I think Car and Drive sucks.
How many people agree?

I agree. EVO rules! And European Car, and Automobile, and CAR, hell, all the Euro mags are best!

I do usually like the reviews of cars by Car and Driver. I find them more detailed, thorough, and factual than those you find in Motor Trend. However, I think Motor Trend is much more entertaining to read on the whole than C&D.

I also think that Road & Track puts out much more technical reviews of cars that give you more of the specs I want than either Car and Driver or Motor Trend.

I like their format, easier to understand and find the stats you want. They got bad numbers for the tests and too much misc. car review....

Red face

I like C&D, it provides many real-world car tests, stuff that the majority of people buy, and its good to know about those cars (helps when I advise just about everyone what to buy). THey also have some good car reviews, and I always enjoy reading it.
R&T gives me lots of racing news, and they have a lot of techno-babble that I love reading. They do quite a few neat car tests, too.
MT does lots of super-fast car tests, lots of speed, which is nice to see.
I feel all magazines have their strengths and weaknesses, so buy them all!!

I like C&D; I think they have spectacular writers writing great articles. However, I'm mostly interested in sports cars, and I find myself skipping over more and more SUV articles every month.

I just let my subscription run out.

I do read AutoWeek [which doesn't have it's own section in here yet], and while they have shorter articles, it's offset by the fact I get it once a week.

road and track is great, motor trend has too many SUV things, and I just subscribed to the second best Car and Driver, which isn't near as good as RnT

Stop picking on them! They are a good mag! I have 5 subscriptions right now, and am proud to call C&D one of my favorites (It was the first one I ever got, a 1996 buyers guide, and I was hooked from then on in!)

if memory serves...

It says MAGAZINE CRITIC!!!!

critic... key word there...

it's not that bad... not too good. I subscribe to 2 mags, Road and Track and Car and Driver. Road and Track compared to C/D is wayyy better, making C/D look awful
