i have another question

i have this fludder noise that happens when i let of or shift i thought being a newb to turbocars that was my blow off valve but i was told it was not it is a slow fludder i was told it was turbo blowback were it is air going back torward the turbo after it has already been throgh i was told it is bad if so how do i get rid of it

That is called compressor surge. It is extremely detrimental to the turbo and will ultimately cause premature turbo failure. Just to give you and idea of what's going on...the air that normally would be release out of the intercooler pipes by the bov is now no longer able to escape so it backtracks back through the system and causes the blades in the turbo to try and spin the opposite direction. Make more sense now? What type of bov do you have? It needs to be readjusted, whether it uses washers or an adj. screw, something needs to be fixed, quick.

i have a greedy bov i dont believe i have ever heard it go off i just get the fludder i was telling you about thank for all the info

Okay since it is a Greedy, there should be an adjustment screw on the top of it. Also, where is your vacuum line connected to? It should be t-ed off of the throttle body and go down to the little nipple on the top(or side) of the bov.

i adjusted the screw and it made no difference turn one way for soft and the other way for hard tried both no difference i keep the car in a garage and im away from it for the night but i will check it tommorow for a tee and a vaccum line

i got it where it blows off with low boost around 8 pounds so i dont hear the fludder anymore yea but for the widband i have a plug in the hole were the o2 wideband goes that the previous owner put in when i assume he took his out before he sold it but the plug was rusted so bad i had to have a another one put on but it should be good to go now

That kind of surge isnt that bad.. All turbos have it, most BOV cant get all the air out so some will go back throw, but the surging at full thottle and low rpms is bad and can cause damage. Also what line are you using for a vaccum sorce?
