95 Dodge rear wheel anti lock valve

I am seeking to replace the anti lock valve assembly on my truck. I did not realize that trying to find this part would be so difficult. I am going to guess that this Kelsey Hayes valve should be easy to find since Ford, GM, Dodge and other manufactures used the same rear wheel anti lock system. If anyone has info as to where to get this item, please let me know. Thanks.

Re: 95 Dodge rear wheel anti lock valve

I have been able to replace the rear ABS valve. I started with purchasing a rear ABS valve for a 1994 Chevy 4x4, 2500. I had to make some changes since the port sizes are different for the Chev. I had to shorten a transition brake line, rewire the solenoid wiring, found a male metripak 280 four prong shell, male pins and wired it as per Dodge wiring. Amazingly I am now hearing the solenoids get activated during the key ON, ABS self test.

Re: 95 Dodge rear wheel anti lock valve

I also learned today that a daytime running module from a 1995 Jeep Cherokee is the same for my Dodge. I have never seen a listing for an aftermarket daytime running lamp module for my Dodge. I have always had to go to the dealer and pay lots $$$$. Now that I know this, it will be aftermarket modules from now on. Info that could get passed to other Dodge owners. Thanks.

Re: 95 Dodge rear wheel anti lock valve

My factory DRL module failed and ordered one for a 1995 Jeep. Plugged it in and it all works for half the cost. I am hoping it will last longer than the factory one.
