tire question?

What kind of tires do you use on these? Well what I mean is what brand and size do you use besides the stock goodyears. I looked on tire rack and there aren't many options in the stock size.

Re: tire question?

Many owners prefer Yokahama AVS Intermediates. I don't know why. Personally, I went down to the used tire place, spent $80 and got Firestone Firehawks that have worn tread so I can drift & launch better!

Has anyone ever moved down to a 225 with a stickier compound?

Re: tire question?

Yoko's AVS Internediates are no longer being made in the correct sizes for the D. . .some people are ging with mis-matched Pirelli's or the Cooper Cobra's now . . .probably a few others, just can't think what off the top of my head.
