Good reliable Mid-Sized CUV/SUV

Hello all. Am new to this forum. My question is this: I currently am driving a 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe V6 (2.7 ltr.) SUV which I am looking to upgrade. As I want to be able to use it for long-distance travelling, it should have plenty of cargo space therefore 3-row seating. These trips will probably have 4 people in the vehicle with accompanying luggage and a set of golf clubs. My vehicle preferences are: less than 4 ltr. engine, cloth interior (no leather), and moderate price. Recently took a 2009 Buick Enclave for a test drive and thought it nice but the 2013 Consumers Reports magazine on vehicles does not give it a good rating. Another vehicle I am considering is the 2009 Mazda CX-9. Can anyone provide personal experience with either of the above vehicles, and any other vehicles I should consider? Thanks to all.
