92 sidekick surging

We have a 92 sidekick which surges around 2000 rpm. Replaced ECM, 02 sensor, distributor cap rotor & plugs, adjusted tps, adjusted timing, checked fuel pump, no codes in ecm. Check engine light on constantly and will not flash codes. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: 92 sidekick surging

i had a miss/surge in a 92 tracker. no codes from ecu. friend has a spare ecu, i put that in and miss went away, runs real smooth now. funny thing is the ecu i pulled out of the tracker was a rebuilt unit by ASE, either they didn't rebuild it right or something else failed

sidekicks are known for a couple of things that may cause this one is manifolds that crack over time ,remove heat shield and inspect manifold specially tube #4 also ECU are now to go bad over time too is some capacitors or diodes search ebay for sidekick tracker ecu repair and it explain it there
