Re: be honest

I remember allanlambo vouching for you in an earlier thread, and that’s good enough for me. I’d enjoy some pics of your car anyway though.

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience as an owner with the forum. It's nice to be able to get info about these cars from someone who has first hand experience.

BTW, do you own any other exotics or are there any cars you might consider buying in the future?

Thanks again,
John

John, thanks for the welcome! I will be glad to give some insight and will be glad to post pictures of my cars. As for current and past exotics I have been lucky enough to own a few. Past exotics or sports cars I have owned a few Lotus esprits, porsche's, and a few others. I sold my 84 countach that I had for many years. I loved that car and cant say enough good things about it. It was a red on tan car 5000s and had 21K kilometers on it when I sold it. A lot of countach owners have had high price maintenance but my car was great. Original clutch still worked perfect the day she left. Current cars right now I have a yellow 6.0 that is my baby and I have an orange 6.0 project car that I am converting in to a street legal GT. It is on hold right now but I will hopefully start on it full swing over the winter. As soon as I get home I will post some pictures for you of current modifications that I have going with my yellow 6.0.

Davo, I think it was you that we had a few words in the past. I would like to formally apologize for any past words and looking back I can see where you might have questioned my ownership considering the misspelled countach that was in my signature. Last night I went back in to delete it or fix it and when I went back through the procedure steps to put the car in my signature it is actually misspelled in the selection's on the site. It is spelled countache in the memory bank and that is where it had been misspelled in my signature. Go through like you are going to add a countach to your list of cars and you will see what I am talking about. I never noticed it when I signed up last year or the year before? Again I apologize to you for any harsh words and I hope we can get off to a better start as I would like to swing in here and share with everyone my experience with current and past cars. I know this is a little off topic but I felt it was a good place to apologize to Davo and anyone else who had to read through the past rants. Jeff

No lambo here, but I do own this replica. It is a work in progress but fun as heck.
