Yes! The Shelby Cobras were amazing!

I love the rounded curves of this car! There's something so sleek and simple about it!

Re: Favorite Classic cars, what are they.

Good day. My name is Dennis. I live in Minsk, studying at university and working.
I do not think there is no secret that the salary in Belarus is very small. For this reason, I can not fulfill the dream of his life - Ford Mystang 1964 Edition. It costs about $ 30 thousand
Therefore, dear, visitors to the forum, I have a huge favor to ask you, Help me build a dream come true! I would be very grateful even for the $ 0.1
Help can be sent to the e-purse Webmoney WMZ - Z608938447413
Thanks in advance to all!

Unhappy Re: Favorite Classic cars, what are they.

Aside from traditional classics, I decided several years ago on my choices for the best-styled (timeless design) prewar and postwar AMERICAN cars.

Prewar: Gordon Buehrig's Cord 1936-37 810 and 812. I personally prefer the sedans over the convertibles, they were tastefully de-chromed and IMO were the template for the "running board-less" Cadillac 60 Specials.

Postwar: Although I love my 1964 Corvette Sting Ray, I have to give the prize to Raymond Loewy's 1963-64 Studebaker Avanti. Cool as a Corvette with room for four, if you update the wheels and tires each decade it still looks new.

Ironically both of these cars were introduced before the production kinks were worked out, leading to months of delays and hundreds of cancelled orders. I think a lot of people who placed deposits for Avantis gave up and bought the new Buick Riviera.

Re: Favorite Classic cars, what are they.

So many great classics to choose from. My favorites include:

1956 Chevrolet - either a Sports Coupe or Convertible. To me these are the nicest of the Tri-Chevys

1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Club Victoria or a Skyliner ;-)

1959 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer

1963 or 1964 Ford Galaxie

1963 or 1964 Chevrolet Impala

There are a bunch of old station wagons that I love but it would take all day to list ;-)

Re: Favorite Classic cars, what are they.

As a kid, I fell in love with the 1982 Pontiac Trans Am while watching Knight Rider. While 1960's Camaros have tempted me, that t-top is still my dream car
