My 2002 Cadillac Seville STS shows a constant 14.8-15 AMP output on the dash gauge is this acceptable with new battery. My 1996 Eldorado usually shows around 13.9 AMPS, I just noticed there was a difference. Thanks for your help. Ellis479

First that's a volt gauge. Only reliable check with a voltmeter on the battery.
