Re: Location of GTR's - Index

The photograph your friend has taken appears to be the showroom of "Oakfields" a car dealer in Hampshire (www.oakfields.com), the majority of the cars in the picture are either up for sale or have been up for sale recently with the exception of the Mclaren. It is possible that the Mclaren is stored for a client or alternatively owned by Oakfields, as an aside a picture of their showroom on there own website has the Mclaren shown although that could be out of date.

Re: Location of GTR's - Index

I recognise the showroom as Oakfields.I was allowed to veiw this GTR along side a F50gt,two of the rarest cars in the world, about three years ago.Unfortunatly the guy's there would'nt let me take any pictures, which was frustrating.
This would tie in with the storage story.
I told the chap there that if this was the Jacadi car,it was one of the first GTR's i ever saw, racind at Donington in 1995

Looks like the nose of #03R is somewhere in a dusty garage filled with Tomcat bits and bobs somewhere in the UK

Is that a '96-spec Gulf bumper on top of it too? Looks that way to me.

Re: Location of GTR's - Index

So Bingo Sports has one for sale in Japan, DK Engineering have Mr. Bridgers car, 27R is at Cars International and 07R has been seen at Oakfields, all cars that could happily enter the GT90s series if bought by the right people.

Any more for sale?

Oh and can I have the chassis number for the Bingo Sports car?

I think in 2009 we will see a lot more F1's changing hands because people will need the cash, just need to win the lottery now and should be able to pick up a nice F1

Owners certainly do not need the cash, the recent influx of F1,s on the market is due to the fact, that there may be a possibility to capitalise on selling their F1 for around £2.5 million and making a tidy profit.

Re: Location of GTR's - Index

I was reading this topic once again.

And notesed that there is a mention about #18R:
"18R's last trip to Goodwood was in 2005 - I am not sure if it has been out to play since then, but I have nothing to prove that it was."

But if you look this great video....
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=P1KmxJ6Daic .... right to the end, you'll see the text:
BMW Frankfurt 01.06.2008. So I just make sure that #018R doesn't have disappeared nowhere, still going very strong and healthy!

Just incase that there isn't added information of this topic about #18R.
If there is, sorry about my blindness.

Cheers Sami - I've just updated the list with latest info off the top of my head; let me know if there have been more recent sightings I've missed

No welcome! At the momemt I don't know anything else than this one. Actually Peloton25 were mentioned this car chassis number in his Thread the bottom of the page, the "groov on" topic. I just started to think, was this allready updated or not. opcorn:

Re: Location of GTR's - Index

Unfortunately, many of the tracking topics are in need of various updates. I should have more free time soon and can put some effort into doing that with the best info available.
