Disable starting

I have a 97 Olds Cutlass which belongs to my mother. The doctor says she should not drive until her health problem is resolved. I want to disable her car so that she does not "forget" and uses her car. The battery is buried and I really do not want to have to reset the clock, radio etc. I was going to remove the ECM fuse but the brace must be removed to get to the fuse box. Any other ideas on how to easily disable the car? She is not going to be putting anything back together so unplugging something is not a problem. Looking for ideas.

Re: Disable starting

Got it. There is a fuse for the starter relay and removing that solves the problem.
