After 12 years of waiting and saving I have just bought one of these cars and can confirm that they are every bit as special as there press.

One of these cars actually has been to the USA for the Italiano Cocourso 1998. Taken by Alfa Romeo direct this is actually the car I now own.

More pictures can be seen at :-

Interesting history originally owned by a main board director of Fiat SPA Italy, whilst he owned the car it was kept in the Fiat Museum in Turin. As FIAT/ALFA do not own an SZ it was used as a demonstration car at shows all over the world. I am still pulling together photographic evidence of its public appearances.

The car is still absolutely perfect havin only covered 9,300 miles from new when I collected. Unfortunately I love drining it so much that it now has 11,700 miles not bad as I have only had it 6 weeks. These cars were meant to be enjoyed.

Re: Alfa Romeo SZ

It's great to have bought it with such few miles on the clock. It must have been very well taken care of given its history. What colour is the interior?

All SZ's, coupe, are the same colour Red, Black roof and Tan leather interior. There was one black one and I know of one that is all red i.e. No black roof.

RZ's Spiders were Red, Yellow or Black with one light blue metalic with interiors of black leather.

Hello guys. I'm new on this forum. Recently got myself an SZ, its a wonderful car indeed. However, I'm having a hard time looking for parts. Where do you buy them?

Definitely a different interpretation of cool. The closest I've come to seeing one is the red Matchbox sitting with all of the other cars I probably won't ever have in the garage.

The alfa romeo sz was based on the alfa romeo 75 3.0 v6 america. They had the same platform, engine and most of the cockpit

but its still a cool car. I work at a alfa romeo garage and a costomer has a sz and a rz in maintenance at our company

another bad as car but a bit older is the alfa montreal
go and look it up!!!

Re: Alfa Romeo SZ

Hello,
Here is the mother, the original Alfa Romeo Giulietta SZ by Zagato.
The version by Bertone is also worth considering I think...
