Question Z3 Body Side Molding

Need help from American Z3 drivers:
The US BMW web site features a "body side molding" (see attached pic).
Strangely, here in Germany my dealer was not able to order this part
(because there is no reference of an order number)... neither is
BMW in Munich, even after extensive investigation.

o Does anybody know the order# for this item? (or probaly find it out
during the next visit to a dealer?)
o Has anybody used this part on his or her Z3? (If so, did you paint
it or chrom it?) ..and can you tell me your experiences with it?
