Quad 4 intake swap

I was wondering if anyone has done a intake swap from a earlier quad 4 to the 96-up 2.4L. I was told that it flows better. Just wondering.

Re: Quad 4 intake swap

there is a lot of info on this on the .org some are now saying that the low output 2.3 intake manifold actually makes better gains than the HO intake mani. Also remember this isn't just unbolt 2.4 IM and bolt up the 2.3 unit. you either have to mod the intake manifold or get one of the phenolic spacers which I don't think they make anymore. I never got around to installing mine before I rolled the car.
