running rich at idle

which way do you turn the screw on the fuel distributor (K-Jetronics) to make it go leaner at idle??? It seems to have been maxed out to conter-clockwise direction by the previous owner. I have got hydro carbones (unburt fuel) 5 times higher than normal, but CO is just fine?

no its conter clockwise, I nailed it. There is lotsa info on the internet. Just google in K-jetronic!
