Valve Cover removal

I was going to attempt to replace the valve cover gaskets but could not. How do you remove them? I think the valve cover gasket has never been changed since I had the car. She Leaks

Re: Valve Cover removal

Its been a while since I had the valve cover off. But I think it should just pull off.

Their could just be oil baked in there.

If your going to replace it just pull/scrape it off.

Re: Valve Cover removal

Allen92rttt thank you for the info and about the other forum. So do you pry them off with a screwdriver? I did not want to break anything that I could not fix and have to take it to the dealer for repairs. I'm just careful about me car. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. Later and thanks again.
