Any one know voltage regulaters

Hello I am new to this fourm I have a problem with my voltage regulater on my early 1951 MG TD it has nine posts on it my generater shorted out and i got it repaired and my red generater light is on and the battery does not charge. is there any way you guys can help me with testing, sending it some were or any way to fix it .any help will be appreciated

Are the terminals on the regulator labeled?
Did you flash the generator?
Do you have a factory service manual?
There is a factory service manual available online for early Bs. You can look at the testing procedures for the regulator and see if they would work on a TD.

Look in section N for the testing procedures.
