Nissan S15 1/24 Replica

Hey everyone,

I present to you my Fujimi s15 silvia replica of my actual car. It was a joy to work on and definitely got me hooked on this hobby. Had some issue with orange peeling and had to sand it back again and repaint. Considering this is my first model kit i couldn't be any happier how it turned out!

Anyways enjoy!

Excellent work, and a great re-creation of your 1:1.

Now all you need the plates, and you've got a complete replica.

Very nice paint and detail work as well.

Good job replicating this 1/1 !
I just think your exhaust end is a bit too big and too thick...
Also it's true that the registration plate would be ideal final detail

Re: Nissan S15 1/24 Replica

G'day mate. Nice replica indeed. And welcome to the forum.

I agree the addition of the number plate would really set the model off. Having done NSW and Vic plates before, I know that the relevant Government Motoring Authority for both those States have websites with the ability to design a custom numberplate then preview it. You can then save the image, resize and print. Not sure about Qld though. With NSW you cannot preview a plate that already exists (i.e. your own) but with some imagination and copy/paste it is easy to make your own.

Hey mate, yeah I think we have a personalised plate site ppq.com.au but I can't do the standard issue plates. I'll prob take a photo oh mine and print it off worst come to worse.

Re: Nissan S15 1/24 Replica

I find it hard to believe that this is the first model you've ever built. The paint turned out great. I have no doubt that the fact you have the 1:1 car in your driveway helps out tremendously.

Very nice work, I look forward to seeing more...SOON!

Great work for a first car model! The paint looks excellent and you captured your 1:1 perfectly. Awesome work and welcome!
