At last I modified springer forks, rebuilding the springs-support and scratching a neww front-light.

Re: Harley Samurai Chopper
Finally begun to paint .. I started the engine last week and continued with the chassis and the superstructure. I started with a basic uniform glossy black, then sprayed with clear gloss (protecting parts in polished brass with tape). So I painted with Alclad chrome rear fender and I finally made a special treatment with oil paints to simulate "vintage" leather.

Re: Harley Samurai Chopper
This is awesome. Very nice built and great work on the detailing. Just one question. I can't see a battery. Did you forget it or is it just not there when using a kickstarter?
Great work |

Re: Harley Samurai Chopper
Good point .. the battery is a bit 'in the subjective world of custom .. We say that a chopper with a modern engine requires mandatory battery, and a motorcycle with an engine older can afford not to mount any battery, but at the expense of flickering bulbs

Re: Harley Samurai Chopper
The samurai still lacks little to be finally completed, so these days I'm focused more on the diorama with other harley acclimatized along the route 66..

Paint job and weathering realy brought it to life, I was a bit sceptic through the process but end resoult is more then fabulous.
