Re: Civic Kills Mustang

so a turbo b16 hatch beat a 5L with unknown mods?

the philly races are filled with bsers wanta be thugs and losers so I wouldn't be surprized if he had mufflers and an X pipe.

Oh yea not like we want details or anything in a story or a story for that matter.

Re: Civic Kills Mustang

No, you do need a story esp when you run you mouth like a cocky fool and don't have your vid up.

It would have taken you just a few mins to write it up if this happened and you care enough to share and tape this you could spend 1 minute of your time plopping out some poorly written story thats all we'd ask but no you can't even give us that.

This site has one of the most lax "kills" forum but latly most all posts really push the limit.

Re: Civic Kills Mustang

vid should be followed by a story. not vice versa.

Maybe the host doesn't allow links. Post the address anyway.

found out what was in the mustang...headers, full exhaust, new intake manifold, injectors, msd ignition, cold air intake, all emission systems removed, new pulleys and stage 2 clutch...its like a 89 with a fiberglass hood....he was in the left lane me in the right wit my hatchie...right off the line i got him then from there he was all rearview...

Re: Civic Kills Mustang

Beating a well modded 5.0 isnt child's play (though most 5.0s on the road are ready to fall apart, a decent one will give you a run for your money and dignity).

How much boost were you running?

Re: Civic Kills Mustang

Holw moley, 26 lbs is a lot of boost. What trim turbo do you have? What rods/pistons?

Re: Civic Kills Mustang

26 eh?
what kinda slicks my friend is not hooking well with 24s on 22psi
I'd like full mod list and still vid and story for it.
That 5L was pretty peppy probbly in 13s but his heads would be a weak link and cam.
