Sadly it seems every source has short remark on this car leaving
its full glory in dark.

Does anyone knows decent link for decent proper size pictures of femme
Volga, ones larger then avatar size?

What is Volga's full brand name? site?

Thank you,

Very intriguing visage, flirts aestetically with both Lancia,Maserati,Audi, while shape stucture mimics Bentley shape.

But, nothing on V12

You can always custom order that V12, or maybe a quadro turbocharged W16???

No thank you, nature of my fascination of Volga is visual only.

There is nothing environment kindly in that engine and it belongs to dark ages for that matter.

But pretty Volga certainly is.

You are calling BMW an "enviromentally unfriendly" company then....cause if you read the previous posts you'd see that the car is a disguised 850 CSi. (By the way what's your take on todays cars like the 750Li, Mercedes CL65 AMG etc?)

PS this is one mean peace of kit! I just love all that good old chrome contrasting with the black body...better looking than an 8-series (which I really like). And GAZ who make the Wolgas have nothing to do with it either. So stop sending them those requests for a production run!

Your note reflecting BMW engines clearly confirms you have been reading some previous post of mine, and there are remains of plenty facts and links to verify that claim- that very essence is made by them, agencies. Exquisite cars and engines but have for years neglected environmental issues.

So to mild up critiques they placed a few models (like Volvo) with CNG power and made several announcement of future Hydrogen employ, but so far, this has been all sand in your face.

I know about Volga engine source, that is far from any secret.
Do you know (I have read a small study on aggression appeal of cars) that model 8 which was disappointment in both drive and sale for BMW, was mostly used by Sport people and racketeers?

750Li, Mercedes CL65 AMG? Great cars in their own league, but engines are from point of environment a dying bread.

Volga is indeed a true beauty, a certain touch of AM DB6.

More or less agree with your take on BMW. Their "green" hydrogen cars (in 7-series bodyshells!) look a bit ironic. Cars like the latest 450hp BMW 760 or 450hp Audi RS6 and best of all the 600+ AMGs are surely a long way from being "environmentally friendly". On the other hand as some english car writer would put it "the world would be a duller place without them"....... So yes, mainstream cars should be made greener but manufacturers should be allowed to produce these monsters which come in very limited numbers anyway and are no real threat to life on earth!

Point taken, but you are wrong about "allowed to produce monsters"

We don't expect for such aspiration cars to be efficient or petrol saving,
their designation is clear from simple transportation vehicles and we recognize that.

But hey, if nothing else, then at least from point of investment the have to be clean.

If you charge me on supercar and we all know that most of this cars while presenting full glory, most of the time are overpriced, they have no right when making money on us to save money in simply avoiding modernization of engine emissions.

And don't you find as irony that Lamborghini since 2001 with 520 co2 (g/km) in US and both Euro IV requirements can pass with green light. * www.vca.gov.uk * ???????..

All present Audi/VW boys (except some diesel engines) can pass regulations.

Audi S models will have some problems, but first new revision will let them also pass.

Is it not amazing VW monster W8 is as we speak Euro IV ready, while no BMW engine presently is in Euro IV group? (Euro III,II sadly)

That is why Aston desperately needed large partner like Ford, so that engines can be treated for emissions, Mercedes also now has no problems thanks to his alliance.

If you would look at some small brand, you would say, OK, it is expensive for them to modernize quickly, environment solutions are not cheap, irony is, some of smallest brands from Asia tend to be as clean as GM and his partners (Alfa,Opel,Saab ...)

Then you look at BMW, most profitable and most importantly, unlike others, completely autonomous brand ,with positive trends in sale since 80's.

Even Mercedes had problems, but never BMW, we might say that this is most stable brand of all. But, that seems to be the problem, to much power, to much corruption.

Instead of modernizing those great engines for fraction of cost, they rather would make even more money

I actually learned this just a few years ago, I though he is as responsible as other Euro and some US brands, until I have read many critics from environment groups and industry, reading truly disappointing data on consumption and emissions.

So you see, they made people think that this is impossible and unnecessary.

But it isn't, it is just matter of priority and investment in technology and better future.

No, they will not become soon efficient and saving, but you have to pass regulations and that is certainly not too much to ask from Bavarian boys.

So when I see 7-liter engine with hydrogen or fuel cells or even CNG as BMW earth friendly alternative solution while even his entry models are emission shy...what can you do but laugh.

As if you would place AM Vantage deadly V8 inside new Toyota Prius and then claim, this be nature friendly solution.

Europe : www.vca.gov.uk

i'm still trying to reconcile the destruction of an 850csi with the creation of such a beauty.
