Self testing air stems can you buy them?

Hey guys long time,

I have an 03 Denali which I love to death, and I saw that the 05s had the self testing valves on the tires. My question is can I buy them? Or do I have to buy the ones that change color? That would be cool too though. How does it work on the 05s? Is it like the vettes that show a read out on the dash? Also what does it cost?

Any help would be appreciated.

If you are referring to the factory tire pressure monitor stem valves found on '04+ GM SUVs--they will not function properly--if at all--on '03 and older, due to the fact that they require the receiver which picks up the signal from the sensors, and (I believe) the tire pressure monitor option programmed in the BCM.

You get a low tire pressure warning on the DIC if low tire pressure is detected in any of the four tires ('05 will tell you which tire, '04 just alerts you to a low-pressure issue).
