Talking What's the best sounding car you've ever heard!!!

I'm talking, one that pulled up to you, revved the engine and caused you to nearly collapse from complete bliss and envy. You know what I'm talking about So, c'mon and share what car produced the most perfect engine noise to you. Or if you haven't heard it in person, but know that it sounds damn near perfect, then please share.

There's guy that lives near me with a newer modded Camaro Z28. That thing sounds so awesome

I have a sound clip of a Ferrari 250 GTO. Nothing in person has come close to it except for maybe a 600 class sportbike.

My friends ex- Z28 was very nice. Also, I've heard a Toyota Supra that sounded more like a domestic with a deep rumble instead of the pissed off weed-eater sound, it was sweet.

Vintage Saab 96 - there are few things better than the sound of a V-4 engine under load, except perhaps a tripple carbed slant 3 2-stroke!

Either my step dad's 71' Z-28 or the F40 I saw at Italian week, last week. Both are beasty but I was shocked at the shear sexiness of an F40's sound.

The sound my VW made when there was a hole in the muffler so I just took it off for a week and just used the header and a baffle... I got a lot of funny looks...

other than that... I can't think of any... I am deprived boy where people with nice cars don't let me come close.

Quite a few

A "slightly" modified '70 Corvette 454, a '95 850Ci, a bi-turboed 4.2L V8 powered Audi RS6 and a 2.5L TDi powered Volkswagen Caravelle that mr. Hans Dahlback had some fun with

Further I have a cd with recorded sound from a V16 BRM race car

Favorite engine sounds

Ferrari 333SP for the classic Ferrari V12 scream and Porsche 962. I love the turbo wastegate chirp of a high pressure turbo when braking and downshifting.

I have to agree with the RS6 engine as among the best of the current engine sounds.
