Speaker static
Whenever I'm cleaning or working in side the cab I hear static in the speakers of my 1999 Ranger XLT. Even without the key in the ignition and the stereo off. Any ideas how this could be happening?

Re: Speaker static
There may be a broadcasting tower and cell tower close to where you live. That, or there is a high voltage power line causing electromagnetic static through your speaker wires.
My sound system in my Escort picks up a CB signal if I am right next to an 18 wheeler broadcasting on the side band. |
