04 trailblazer IDLES HIGH WHEN CRANKED
Hey guys first post so bare with me, we just bought a 2004 Trailblazer 4.2 V6 LS 2wd and me not my husband are mechanics he knows a little bit but not when it comes down to the nitty gritty. We just had the trans rebuilt and new torque converter. Well we have noticed that when we crank the truck jumps to 1100 RPMs and you can hear it idles very high but it comes down to about 700 RPM real quick. When it's in drive it kinda feels rough as to when I put it in reverse it runs alot more smoothly. The air filter is perfectly clean, we changed spark plugs, and doing an oil change and checking the check engine light because it is on. Will update if anyone has any ideas throw em out!! 8/5/17
