Alot of the owners switch there TT rear ends for NA rear ends to get the deeper gears like Broke said. Quicker off the line.

While swapping to NA rear end may be the cheapest most effective acceleration upgrade you'll ever find for the TT Z32, I'll keep the TT gears thank you, the car will be fast enough as is. Also, I reeeeeeeally like the idea of:

3.692 TT rear = 190mph at redline.

WITH A 5SPD!

Re: Twin Turbo Swap... READ

I am seriously considering the TT front clip swap. The reason is that I need my 2+2. Nobody ever gives that reason to do it, but I need to take my 4 year old and her mamma with me sometimes.. I wasnt sure what I needed having a 2+2. I guess Broke answered that with the new exhaust.. Anything else I will need to change? I have a 1995 Q45, I would love to put this motor in if I could find a place in Fl to do it.

for a 2+2 TT conversion, you will need to purchase the front clip, custom exhaust, custom driveshaft, and the TT fuel pump. that should be everything you will need to do the swap.

Thanks, can I just get a cat back set up, or do I have to have something custom made?? Can I cut down my drive shaft or will that have to made from scratch?

you can usea cat-back system but you will have to take it to a shop so they can add extensions between the cat pipes and the cat-back system, i am told. also, the driveshaft would be better off made from scratch. z1motorsports sells them at a fair price.

i am going to be working on a 2+2 TT swap and i have done a lot of research. i always wondered if you could buy testpipes and a 2+2 catback and then they will bolt right up but no one has given me an answer yet. also, about the drive shaft, i always wondered if i could use my driveshaft but i havent found any information on the size differences between the 2 transmissions. so basically i am going to just try it and see what works and what doesnt. then i can report back to people and tell them what can work and what cant.

Awesome man, I will be doing it very soon. I also thought about the test pipe thing. I will try to do more research as well. Let me know if you find out any more on these topics and I will do the same. I think a 2+2 turbo will be sweet.
