e36 and s85b50

Maybe somebody know something, about swap s85b50 engine to e36 coupe?
That is not in my plan to do something like that and i just need to know. if it is possible.
I know that e34 and e36 manufactured with the same engines m50 6 cyl, and m60 (v8) for e34. I found some information about e36 with m60. So my question is: if it is enough space for s85b50 in e36 coupe?
Thanks for answering.
P.S.
sorry for my bad english.
