I'm lost on that too...

He must not understand the narrow glass vs wide glass in an earthquake principle. AKA center of gravity.

If hes talking about those BC 18x8s from earlier he must not understand that Wheels tend not to work well when they are grinding on the strut.

There are intelligent arguements to be made against having an low offset wheel. Most people tend not to know them and will just parrot things their 50yr old autocrosser dude told them like "bearing stress" and "Suspension Geometry".

not this bad lol. I mean it drives nice still, shifts good, holds oil and what not, no leaks. Starts up good after not driving it for months. But the suspension is clunky and just sounds bad.....i rode in my bro's the other day and almost fell asleep in his car because it was so much smoother lol. Now i know once i get my coils and shit on it will be rough and stiff....but atleast i know it will be solid and not a clunker that you feel is going to break going down the road. And the body....well uh...yea.....no rust though. There is a hole(more of a gash) in my quarter from when i pulled the dent out with the frame wrack. It just tore the metal, lots of force. I black primed the spot just so it blends in for the time being.

you got your whole life to save, but tomorrow you might get some kinda lawsuit and pay child support for 18 years... yeah buddy live it up with what you got right now and not in the future. 750 bucks is a shitload of money for an exhaust... I know I know, but even if your paid good tomorrow u could get fired, the company could close down, a tornado could take out the building... take what money u got now and do what needs to be done on the car.... your complaining that you don't want any power right yet because your car doesn't ride good and needs suspension work and probably tires, so why are you spending so much money on a power part right now befre spending that 750 on fixing up some suspension hunks of junk.........

spl tension rods, stb's, power brace, bushing kit........ I'd much rather have that shit then even the world's best, pimpest exhaust system for the same price. Put a god damn weld on muffler if u want some noise and buy an exhaust system after u get your turbo setup going....... its just like throwing money into the toilet then later after u take a shit in it u gotta fish around in there and get it out with your teeth

im spending all on suspension first and replacing whats needing to be replaced. Ill have all this shit in my room with in 3 weeks, it wont be installed for a another good month or so.(fired or not, prolly wont get fired because everyone that works there has known me since i was in the womb, and the fact my dad has worked there for 25 years, or even if a tornado freakishly lands in the middle of winter, no it wont go out of business(relies on to many big companies)), After all that im saving up for turbo shit, but ill still have a few grand leftover to fund some of this. So plz like i said dont worry about me. But my engine has 170+,xxx miles on it......and plus nothing can be done to the car while im giving it a full paintjob and front swap. So the parts will be chilling for a while. Believe me if i had my own garage space i would do all of it at one time.....

and tell me where i said im buying all this rods and shit you speak of? I never said once im buying that right now. LOL dont worry about me for the last damn time. It will turn out all good.

How the hell did this turn into me asking about exhausts.....to a lecture on how i can save money? If i asked "how to save money when buying exhuasts" i would have made the title that. I know how to save money.....believe me......

Re: TITANIUM, help a mofo out plz

Having a shitbox rusted car with 300hp is just that - Having a shitbox.

A car should be well rounded.

Moving on... Closure.

I was saying that would totally wreck your handling properties and I would feel sorry for the poor bastard who did that. Unless you were just kidding.
Thats actually superior to running a low offset wheel. The reason nobody does it is that its probably not possible without weakening the FLCA rod end and its fucking expensive.

Re: TITANIUM, help a mofo out plz

oh and fuck z's. To big for me, dad had one didnt like the boat. I like 240's. And i grew up a nissan family. Oh and i did by a scion 3 months ago, so....i know its not a super fast cool car but it is of different family......lol you guys crack me up. A clean fast properly maintained car is so much more appealing to me, i dont get your logic of wanting a beat up ride?? Its so easy to fix.

im sorry that i can spend money.....lol......

and the whole stock thing.....id take a lightweight hood over that stock bomb shield anyday. See im into the whole lightweight low hp(3-400 range)...but still fast thing. Just an over all good street car....

That makes no sense at all... I can think of maybe 20 cars in the united states with Uras Type 4. Then theres the other 90% of people that have stock body 240SXs.

Stock bodied 240s look so wack. I'd rather... and did drive my car for weeks without a front bumper rather than use that penis chuki bumper

Re: TITANIUM, help a mofo out plz

id love to drive a shit box if it had 300whp and it was a 240sx... Id even drive a topaz if it had 300whp, then i would go around ravaging all the ricers here that have intake, fart can (the worst is when you can see where the huge tip has been welded to the stock 1.5" exhaust lol) and 15hp worth of stickers...

Re: TITANIUM, help a mofo out plz

A car should be balanced in looks and performance,a nice looking 100hp car is gay, a shitbox 300hp car is gay, I love the stock body of the 240, but like anything, it could be improved.

Re: TITANIUM, help a mofo out plz

this is turning into that "what is a ricer" thread. this is all opinion. sr20detpower expressed it, r.w. expressed it, hitnrun expressed it, slidestar and whoever else in on this thread expressed it. there's no right or wrong here, its all about what you like personally. and i, just like sr20detpower, am not favouring the show aspect of cars, even if they are done up to the strut mounts.. (wow.. i'm a huge nerd and so is anyone else who thought that was funny)

and sr20detpower, i completely disagree about us saying a 240 with all the body kit shit "needs a turbo" when the same type of civic is deemed ricer. i know i'm contradicting myself about the whole ricer thing here but there aren't many 240 pictures on here with guys sayin "it needs a turbo" to go along with the body kit, and whatever else you listed.. i'm not saying there AREN'T any, i'm saying its not like we're biasing the 240 as much as that.. normally we can collectively decide if a car is riced out or not.. but that only ever seems to be when there's a picture being argued about..
