Dodge Challenger 2009 in blue

This will be my first project in this year: a '09 Dodge Challenger from Revell.


I'm planning to use Mr. Hobby Sky blue, the hood got the test paint:


First I started with the engine, I painted the parts with several Alclad2 paints.








Unfortunately the Hemi decals are oversized, I had to paint the letters.


Started wiring the engine...




Finally it should look like this


Interior is boring black Painted with Mr. Hobby Tire Black, the carpet got another - darker - black color. Nothing extra...


I removed the stock plastic mesh on the front end, I'll replace it with PE mesh.

nice work so far,but the body color paint looks to light are you planning on clearcoating it?.

Of course the body will be clearcoated and polished. I don't want to reporduce the car on the first image, I choosed this color on purpose.
