Arrow 2013 Cadillac ATS Caught Testing On The Nurburgring [Spy Video]

Following the the official announcement that Cadillac’s lineup is growing by two new vehicles made Mark Reuss, North American President of General Motors, the upcoming Cadillac ATS was once again spied testing on the Nurburgring and here you can watch the spy video.

In terms of styling, the latest spy video reveals the strong influences from the CTS. Upright head and tail lights appear at their respective ends and dual exhaust tips can be seen in the rear bumper.

So does this mean Cadillac is becoming a sports brand?
Something to compete with BMW?

I don't think so... as you can see there are some strong influences from the CTS, so the new model will keep the Cadillac's classic lines and features

you don't think the CTS is aimed clearly at the 5 Series BMW?
The higher end Holdens and HSV's here compete directly with it, and the CTS-V clearly takes a stab at the M5.
The inclusion of Manual gear boxes across the whole range is also very telling, making Cadillac, Holden and BMW part of small group to still offer a Manual gear box in large sedan.


Be interesting to see how the ATS comes together, there has been talk in Australia of a return of the Torana, which would use the same platform.
