Re: Speakers came today
Jet, I possess more 12v knowledge in my nut sack than you could ever DREAM of knowing.
The point is you're a numbskull. You just don't get it. Lol @ proper grammar, I'll learn you all I want (Yes, I said learn on purpose) but guess what... you'd still a numbskull. Come sit in my truck, you'll MORE than feel it. As for this outrageous claim of "your" subwoofer... I'll wait for pics. That is all. NG |

Re: Speakers came today
all of the arguments on here are exactly why I used sealed boxes only. The normal cabin gain in a small hatchback gives pretty good response down to 20 Hz and below. Unfortunately, due to the construction of the human ear it is very difficult to hear much below 25-20 Hz anyway (depends on the person).

Re: Speakers came today
5" excursion, 6" capable...HAHA, why don't you sell that technology to the engineers over at IA or RE or Adire for that matter... you must have thought of XBL^2 when you were drawing sketches in kindergarden.

There's a few companies that are already patent pending on designs that are better. What a joker. Quote:

Re: Speakers came today
It isnt hard to get something to move 5"
Doing in in an audible range with a cone large enough to have decent displacement and with out BL dropping off so much that it is incapeable of moving anywhere near 5" in an enclosure that is the hard part. |

Just keep an eye out. We've also got another design that should play clear down to 1hz. It's still in the design phase though. Gimme a year to get a working prototype together and decently fine tuned. |
