i dont know why but today when i start the car and started driving, there's no hesitation at all, no powerless acceleration, it was as if it was normal again except there is still ticking noise at idle and at all times and does not get worsen when i hit the gas as oppose to it gets worsen when i hit it.

You might have had a sticky lifter or some dirt in one or more of them. If you haven't by now, change your oil or have it changed, but go for a quality filter like Delco or Purolator. Get it at an auto parts store, not from a department store. They often carry a cheesier filter under the same name. Fram does that and so do other companies. Use a premium oil of your choice. I prefer Pennzoil and Kendall myself.

Re: Walmart Messed Up My Car

Ok, after the mechanic have done a full analysis which cost me 59.95, he was certain that there is something wrong with the valve, it's bent or something like that, he asked me if the car i had was used when i buy it and it is and he said somebody must've unscrewed something loose and it should be unrelated to walmart, and he said for now i'm running only on 5 cylinders and the cost to repair it range from 900 to 1200 dollars, so if I don't get it repaired then I can run this car roughly indefinitely, what do you think I should do? Repair it or just drive it as no further damage will be done to it?

Re: Walmart Messed Up My Car

If he was a good mechanic he should be able to tell you what is wrong instead of blaming it on being a used car. If you knew exactly what was wrong that could narrow down the cost and and help make your desicion.

Re: Walmart Messed Up My Car

No, my engine wasn't clicking before I had oil changed at walmart, after 10 minutes I left walmart it started ticking. Now i got the analysis from the mechanic, please read my scanned analysis here.
He say I am now only running on 5 cylinders because I got a misfire on cylinder number five and he say my engine is pumping gas to the engine and he disconnected the injector to stop it, and he say somebody must have did some intake work on my car before I bought it used and they left a bolt loose inside and it fall off and he said something about the head gasket.

Re: Walmart Messed Up My Car

I just wondered what methods of diagnosis he used. Is the cylinder misfiring because of a compression issue or ignition issue? Sounds like he thinks it is a compression issue but his work order isn't very detailed as to what he actually did to determine that.
