question about rims/hubcaps

If any of you have seen the movie "Grease", you will know what i'm talking about. I wanted to know if you can buy those spiked hubcaps/rims somewhere like the dude with the '49 mercury had. If not would it be possible for me to make them? They are are supposed to be for an old classic truck that i wanted to customize.

Re: question about rims/hubcaps

I'm pretty sure those hubcaps are handmade . You could duplicate them by going to flea markets , garage sales , etc. and looking for the appropriate pieces .Then simply do whatever is necessary to assemble the combination you desire . You might also check at www.speedway.com ! They sell some " old school stuff " .
