Red face Replacing Headlamp - 2004 Rainier

Hello! I have a question I hope you guys can help me with. My husband hit a deer the other night No real damage except the driver's headlamp broke. It seemed to be just the lens (I think thats what you call it -- the glass covering the light) broke, but the light was still working. About 3 days later the light does not work. I was hoping to just replace the lens (looked all over the net but could not find just the lens), but now that the light is not working I am guessing the whole thing needs replacing.

I do not have much money and I am looking at $130 for the light. My husband suggested a junk yard might have the part. I know Rainiers are not the most common vehicle on the road, and I don't know if a junk yard will have what we need. However, he suggested that maybe a blazer light would fit.

Any thoughts on that? I'm sure we could find a Blazer, just not a Rainier. Would it fit? I really appreciate any help on this. Thanks!

I doubt it......bulb probably failed because the lens was cracked and moisture hit that hot bulb....junkyard can put a trace out there to other junkyards, if THEY don't have it....
