heater water control valve
Has anyone else had trouble with a leaking heater water control valve. I'm losing coolant. It seems to be coming from the area around the back of the engine.

Re: heater water control valve
Yeah mine has failed twice, I bought a spare just to have one when it goes again. It's the heater control valve on the back of the motor. You can remove the wiper blades then pull off the plastic cover that goes the entire width of the engine compartment to gain access from the top. There is a cabin air filter on the passenger side you can remove it and you will see a access panel you can remove to get side access to the valve.
