05 V6 RWD differential clunk
I have about 95K miles and a horrible differential clunk. How hard is it to shim the bevel gear in this diff? Will the half axles have to come out?
I really should fix it because its making terrible noise even at acceleration/deceleration not mentioning D to R and back gear switch. Feels like the diff will explode. Did anyone attempt this repair? Regards, Bart. |

Re: 05 V6 RWD differential clunk
I got my lazy behind under the car and realized that the front carrier busing is gone. I cant find replacement anywhere online. Doesn't GM make replacements? I dont really want to take it apart and measure to get polyurethane replacement, casue it will mean I cant use my car for few days. Does anyone know the size of that bushing?
