Auto Insurance Claim

All,

I met with an accident few months back. fault is on both sides but police report states as am in fault. Other party have appointed a lawyer to work with my insurance company. My insurance company is paying off the amount to the other person. My insurance company told as if the other party did not agree for the setllement then they will send legal notice to me. My insurance company asked me to contact them if i received a legal notice.
I have few questions, 1. if the other party send me the legal notice, will insurance company take care of everything after that? 2. If they ask me for more money then do i need to pay and get from insurance? 3. Does anyone have experience on how this works.

Thanks, XYZ.
