Ferrari 312T2 Monaco 1976, Hasegawa 1/20
Good evening to all mates! Hare is a brand new wip about a very nice (IMHO) subject: the ferrari 312T2, in the version that ran at the Monaco GP in 1976. For those who are planning to ask: no, this choice is not related to the movie!!
The base kit is the quite well done Hasegawa one, but I decided to add two main add-on: the Hobby design detail set (a lot of PE, some turned rivets and switch!) and the Hobby design turned wheel set (veeeery nice, unfortunately are made of steel, so it is practically impossible to drill holes to add the air valves!!) Clearly, all comments, suggestion, reference photos and criticsm are welcome!! Let's start with the gearbox assembly. At first I decided to modify the rear part of the gearbox, cutting away the molded brakes, in order to suitably modify them. I'm also planning to add some self made PE.. The the whole rearbox was assembled. However, the shape of the sopport for the Dion suspension was too flat, while the real thing had adeep groves to reduce weight without reducing stiffness. So, I cut the part and added some PS cut to shape and sanded, sanded... Then, after the holes were drilled, I added some ring shaped wire, to reproduce the real thing. Will be fine in primer! That'all, for the moment. See You Next Post! Antonio |

Re: Ferrari 312T2 Monaco 1976, Hasegawa 1/20
Thank you guys for support and comments! Anyway, very slow progress: modified the dion suspension, adding the welding lines and preparing all the hles for hex rivets.
Lower rear suspension arms (and uprights) were modified in order to attach the uprights as was in the real car, by means of hex rivets plus washers. Also the anti-roll bar was modifies, adding the reinforcement lines to simulate the grooves in the real car. Also the bar was substituted with a 0.8 aluminum bar. That's all for the moment, any comment is welcome. See you next post! Antonio |

Sorry guys, I've uploaded 8 files, only 3 visible on my PC. Is this a problem of mine, or I have to upload them again?
