A bit of help for my project

Hi everybody, I'm Ric0chet, and I'm Newbie here.
Although I'm not here long, I would like to ask for a bit of help on something. I'll take any few tidbits of information you might have.
I have a college project/essay that is due to tomorrow, and I have failed in finding a crucial part of it. The topic is: "Top selling female car models".
However, 2 days ago my professor asked me specifically to research and insert two bits of information. 1.The best selling female car of 2013. and 2. The best selling female car of 2000.
The first one was a breeze, there are dozens of articles online and it took me a matter of minutes. However the second part proved unreal. I tried libraries, went trough miles of useless pages, and all I got for my effort in the end were a few vague sentences and a some dead links. (of course, they were posted in 2000).
So please, PLEASE, does anyone have any knowledge/statistics/ideas on where to look- on what car model was most bought by women in 2000?
