Re: NSX or Skyline
I would say the NSX would have the better stock performence, but I would take the Skyline over the NSX stock or not. Because once you start to put on the performence mods on the skyline, there are few cars in the world that can match its straight line performence. Looking at the handling side, the Skyline's handling stock is very very good just that not as good as the NSX, but if both were to be modded, the skyline I think would out handle the NSX. And oh yea, not ot mention the drivetrain of the Skyline. RWD when you need it AWD when you dont.

Comparing them stock it kinda unfair. In every market (except America, where the Skyline has to be specially imported by motorex for around $40,000, on top of its approx $40,000 base price), the Skyline costs much much less then the NSX. I'd bet almost anything that the NSX would smoke the Skyline stock for this reason. However, like everyones been saying, with the money to modify the Skyline, the skyline could take almost anything

i would go for the nsx type R, the type R actually means type racing, and the type s zero n those other nsx's aren't so bad, but maybe a vspec II nur will destroy the type R

Re: NSX or Skyline
Although I'm a HUGE fan of the Skyline, and I'm a Nissan diehard fan for LIFE, and the ATTESSA-ETS is still one of the worlds best AWD systems, being able to go from a 0:100 f/r torque split all to a 50:50 torque split in a fraction of a second is amazing.
But the NSX-R looks better, is PURE RWD, and with Vtec it's gonna have top top end pull, and keeping it NA is still amazing. Honda never fails to amaze me. |

Re: NSX or Skyline
I gotta go with the NSX-R if it where a stock race. That is straight line or track. If it where modded I would have to go with the Skyline. That thing is VERY easy modded, like the Supra.
I posted the same thing on the Skyline board, and had SOOOOOO many people laugh at me and tell me that the Skyline punishes every other Japanese car-but then again what do they know? |

Thank you Flylwsi "spec v nur" I was just gonna say the Nur would kick the Nsx R's Ass. Your comparing the regular to a modified nsx. The nur would rip it apart and so would a tommy kiara r34. The nsx type zero is pretty sweet though but the Nur rules all except the Mclaren .
