2000 Toyota 4runner engine light
Check Engine light. P0171, code has been revealed through
various diagnostics. I have changed the fuel filter(maybe I didn't have to), replaced old 02 Sensor with a new one. I think my air flow meter is bad. Every so often my engine light disappears. When the engine light is off and I put my 4runner on the highway, as soon as I hit about 60mph my engine light comes on. What do I do! Thanks to all who respond. |

Re: 2000 Toyota 4runner engine light
Well first off they will try and sell you their diagnostic time which is 1 hour labor to 1.5 hours labor. Just say that you have allready had the vehicle diagnosed and you want them to replace the airflow meter which runs about $140 + 1 hour labor dealer labor rates = $60-$85 per hour. My recommendation to you would be to go to the dealer buy an airflow meter and an air filter if yours is dirty and replace it yourself. It is very easy to replace.
