1995 dodge neon 5-speed transmission

I have never had any problems out of the trans and we pulled up to a stop sign and put the car into 1st gear and went to take off and there is no 1st or 2nd gear . Its like it just is gone its like its in 3rd when you take off. Ant suggestions to the problem.

Re: 1995 5-speed transmission

Check your bushings. They may have fallen out, either on the tranny or the shifter.
