I'm guessing it is the same stuff, the only question is whether or not the two are of the same sieve size and if the size makes a difference to the effect.

Seeing as it is a powder that you effectively compact onto the surface, my question is seeing as it can't really be cleared effectively/consistantly, what happens when you try to (tamiya) wax it?

edit: I've also seen another chinese/hong kong version of this sold in a teeny little tub for about HK$70.
I'll see if I can find it online.

No need to wax it. It's very gloss as is because it's on a base of gloss black. You can decal it very easily without a problem. Just be careful...

Yeah, I'm puzzled by that. The basecoat is black! How can you mess that up by getting it "too dark"??
