Kia Sorento is a knockout!

You gotta see the bang for the buck you get on the new stylish 2003 Kia Sorento. It's engine is smooth and quite powerful V6 and very, very nice interior. You can taste the quality workmanship on this new SUV. The fine ergonomic lines on the body are comparable to the Lexus and Mercedes Benz SUVs. I just bought one on November 4, 2002. If you are in the market fo a mid-size SUV then you gotta go see the 2003 Kia Sorento!

Does it drink a lot of gas in the city? How many kilometers do you have after a month?


I'm thinking of buying one but i'm still not sure concerning the KIA (name) and about the cost of gas (16L/100Km city OUCH! OUCH!). I do about 2000 KM / Month so... hehehe!

I have a Ex with all the Toys! Never better then 14 city, never better then 19 City.(I had a Santafe and it was only a couple of miles better.)

I bought a 04 lx two weeks ago and am very happy with it. I chose it over several well known japanese models because the features, styling and price. I'm averaging 16mpg in town which is pretty good for a 4200lb suv. My car is getting 18-19mpg in town but it weights much less and has a smaller engine so I'm pretty happy. My last truck, a 99 silverado extended cab with 5.3L v8/auto got 13-14mpg in town and my truck before that, a 97 dodge ram club cab w/318 only managed 12.5mpg in town.

I love mine. I bought a EX 4x4 because I live in MN. Here we get snow sometimes a lot.

I bought mine due to a few factors:

Warranty - Honda and Toyota can't touch this.
Style - Most people mistake it for a luxury SUV. When I first saw one, I thought it was at least $30,000-$40,000 SUV. I never thought it was a KIA.
Power & Towing - It have enough power and torque to tow my 17ft boat.
Drive - It drive very solid compare to driving a CRV or Highlander (eggshell drive). The drive is comparible to a Honda Pilot.
Interior - solid like the Honda pilot not thin like the CRV&Highlander.

I drove off the lot with 37miles on it. With the same price I paid I could also get a Honda Pilot w/37,000 miles on it. However, who wants a used SUV when you can get a new one off the lot for the same price. Honda and Toyota could come close to the warranty Kia was offering. I still love mine here's a pic:

you should all drive the 2005 sorento they changed alot of suspension and steering components. It's just awesome whish I had an 05

That's probably why I decided to buy my Sorento over Honda or Toyota because it is a 2005 EX 4X4 with all the toys inside.
